We are a family business based in the UK, offering everything from camping to caravanning to make your outdoor adventures special and enjoyable. Decades of experience in the outdoor leisure industry mean that we pride ourselves in providing the best range of popular brands with great prices to match. Our History
1990s: Full and part bespoke conversions and designs
We became specialists in bespoke designs. We started our company doing both full and part campervan conversions, gaining an immense amount of experience building bespoke van conversions since we began in 1991. We launched our own range of vehicle conversions based on the knowledge gained from that experience. Our range of vehicle conversions reflected the best features of the many varied designs we built, and each model design was optimised to suit each particular vehicle. To offer the best choice, customers also took advantage of our popular bespoke vehicle building service where conversions were uniquely customised to suit customers own specifications and needs.
We handcrafted and built furniture using high quality lightweight laminated ply board in a varied range of colours and finishes and with wood or plastic trims. We also built cabinets by the more traditional methods using real wood veneers and hardwood frames which were ideal for the executive motorhome. Furniture kits came ready assembled in the style of customers' choice ready for them to fit as part of their own DIY conversion.
2000s to today: Outdoor leisure specialist retailer
Using this experience, we started our online store based in the UK delivering direct to UK customers. Whether this be tents, awnings, camping equipment, watersports, sportswear, survival gear.
Further to this, we stock everything and anything you could possibly need in order to kit out your campervan. For the kitchen there are a vast array of electrical items including Dometic fridges and power refridgerators, Smev hobs, grills, cookers and sinks. For the most practical bathrooms we have everything from bathroom cabinets, basins and shower trays to electric and manual porta pottis, swivel and cassette toilets. To cover the necessities we have water tanks, pumps and waste carriers alongside the smallest parts required, for example, hoses and taps all from popular brands such as Fiamma, Shurflo and Whale. To complete your vehicle, we offer Fiamma Awnings, cycle racks and ladders. We also cater for the DIY enthusiast down to the tiniest detail from small electrical parts to gas fittings and heaters.

We are open to the public and have a small showroom/accessories shop displaying a range of our products. It operates as a small shop with a trade counter, meaning we are able to fulfill customer orders. You can visit our premises based at Rainbow Conversions Ltd, Unit 1 Algores Way, Wisbech, Cambridgeshire, PE13 2TQ.
Our opening hours are as follows:
Monday: 9am-1pm /1.30pm-5.00pm
Tuesday: 9am-1pm /1.30pm-5.00pm
Wednesday: 9am-1pm/1.30pm-5.00pm
Thursday: 9am-1pm/1.30pm-5.00pm
Friday: 9am-1pm/1.30pm-4.00pm
Saturday: 8am-12pm (please note that this is shop only, and the office is closed)
Sunday: Closed
